At CES 2024, LG and Samsung unveiled their latest and much-awaited transparent TV technologies.
LG unveiled transparent OLED TV:
Expected to launch in the second half of this year, LG’s Signature OLED TV is a 77-inch OLED display with both transparent and opaque viewing modes. When in transparent mode, you can see through it to the rest of the room and it can display artwork, films, and data, like the weather and news. The display activates a contrast screen when you wish to watch TV or a movie, allowing you to view only what is on screen.
Samsung transparent TV:
The company’s Transparent MICRO LED display was unveiled before the CES 2024. The Transparent MICRO LED’s crystal-clear, glass-like display features a futuristic design and has revolutionized the viewing experience and attracted the attention of global consumers.
